NOAH

NOAH News: Most of the card has finally been added to the 3/5 “GREAT VOYAGE 2011 in Tokyo” show. This is all following the 2/16 show which saw a few challenges made and as you can see below the matches have been signed to indeed happen. Namely in which Taniguchi pinned Sano in a 6 Man Tag and in which Sano wanted a rematch. This rematch will happen and for the GHC Tag Belts on the line.
Speaking of belts, all the GHC belts will be on the line and I cannot recall the last time they have all been set to be defended on the same show. It has been a while now.

NJPW

MVP has landed in Japan and he is read for his debut match in NJPW on 2/20.
If a lot of you do not care about what MVP has done in the WWE, even MVP says he was limited to what he could do and Japan is a whole new ballpark. In Japan he is going to be free to open himself up and show what he has to offer.
MVP is all about respect and i…s grateful for being in Japan and being able to be in the ring. It should also be noted that MVP has his eyes on Tanahashi and the IWGP belt, that is if Tanahashi remains champion following the 2/20 match against Kojima.
MVP will also be representing NJPW when they come to the USA for the 3 day tour, and would also like to have his name thrown into the hat at a shot of being the first IWGP Intercontinental champion.

If you wish to know what is all happening for NJPW please check out the previous “Dojo” post for all the latest headlines heading into the 2/20 show.

Former wrestler SUWA, real name Takahiro Suwa, made an appearance at the (2/17) Zero1 show and announced that he is now an official sanctioned NWA Referee.
From what I gather he will be the referee for the NWA Lightheavyweight Tag Team Title match between the champions Takuya Sugawara & Kaijin Hubu Otoko vs. Minoru Fujita & Mineo Fujita.

Following his successful defense over KAMIKAZE, Daisuke Sekimoto will be without much of a break as he will be facing Ryouji Sai come the 3/6 show.

Also there is another match that was to be announced today and that was to be involving IGF wrestler Atsushi Sawada facing against Kohei Sato, but due to complications Sawada did not appear at the conference and the match maybe reported later.

It was announced today that Kazushi Miyamoto will be returning on 3/6. Miyamato spent the early part of his career in All Japan but in 2005 left All Japan and became a freelance wrestler. He competed in Z1 and a few other promotions and even competed in the states as The Great Kazushi.
Another match that has been added to the card that is getting some press is that Minoru Suzuki and KAI will be facing each other one on one come the 3/6 show. They have faced before in single matches, but what makes this different is that KAI feels that he can finally prove himself to beat Suzuki, or at least show that he is no longer to be taken lightly.
