For 6:52, that packed in a LOT of action. That ending sequence especially was just ridiculous. Both teams did not hold back at all and it made for a VERY enjoyable equal contest. I would love to see another match between both teams. It also says something when the NWA Hollywood crowd, who are not the most lively of bunch, came totally alive for this by the end of it. Definitely check this one out!

Adam Pearce is in the back for a promo on him being a referee tonight. The fact that Cabana and Joey Ryan cannot trust him makes him the perfect candidate to be the referee since he is not for either man and is completely impartial. Ryan and Watts look to setup Pearce for something, but Cabana punches Ryan in the face. Watts attacks Cabana and they hit a Spike Piledriver on Cabana on a chair! Pearce gets back in the ring with a chair of his own and Watts & Ryan exit the ring. Watts and Ryan bail as replays are shown of the attack and referees come out to help Cabana out of the ring and to the back.
Bit of a lame ending, but the match was going along really well towards the end. It is better than the idea of an Adam Pearce heel turn at least. ***

OVERALL
There was some fun in-ring action on this episode of NWA Hollywood. The RockNES Monsters match in particular was a very fun quick sprint that is the type of things that companies like ROH and TNA are missing to help open the shows and get crowds into things. The BlindFold match, while by no means was the five star classic that anyone would expect, was worked pretty well considering the gimmick and helped continue the feud based on the result while the main event was also pretty enjoyable. Granted at this point, with Joey Ryan now being dropped from NWA Hollywood, after we get through the shows around the time that this show was recorded, who knows where they will go after.

EDITOR’S NOTE For the readers, I do apologize for getting a bit offtrack when it comes to my reviews. I am actually getting prepped for a big move to college and whatnot, so I lost track of time as far as reviews go. You can expect some more reviews of the recent shows coming from me very quickly once everything is settled!
