Dark Match: 1. The Elite(Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver) beat James “Moose” Thomas & Rocco Bellagio w/Prince Bolin to retain the OVW Southern Tag Team titles

Full report from Scott King

Eddie Edwards will challenge the ROH champion (currently Davey Richards) in the main event.

There are reportedly female models at the show as well. It would seem ROH is going to bring some sex appeal to the show which is not a bad thing.

Added info. 2 people were wearing Steen shirts and had Steen signs. Cornette said Steen isn't coming back, and he could sue him. And later Cornio said he just needed 5 minutes with Jim because he had a solution to the monster problem.

Tj Perkins defeated Mike Mondo via roll up

Briscoes promo about how they have to fight the ANX one more time to see who fights the WGTT at Final Battle 2011

ROH TV Title Match: Jay Lethal vs Mike Bennett fought to time limit draw. Lethal wanted 5 more minutes but Bennett walked off.

Roderick Strong defeated Kyle O'Reilly. Great match with the end coming after Strong hit about 4 elbows then the sick kick. Elgin ran down and they attacked Kyle O'Reilly, then Davey ran out, but the numbers got to him, then Edwards

ran out. Some security guy was hurt and Cornette said the House Of Truth couldn't just break the rules when they wanted.

Tommaso Ciampa w/Prince Nana & Ernesto Osiris beat Alex Silva

Briscoes defeated ANX. What you would expect. End was Titus had Mark on his shoulders, Jay knocked King off the turnbuckle, then jumped off the top, pushing Mark into a roll up,
The Briscoes won the right to challenge the ROH Tag Team champions (currently Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) at the Final Battle Internet PPV on 12/23.

Intermission

Michael Hayes beat Mohmad Ali Vaez by DQ

Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini & Roderick Strong beat Shiloh Jonze

ROH Tag Champs Worlds Greatest Tag Team Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin defeated C&C Wrestling Factory Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander. I don't know what kind of match it was, but it was a challenge with a time limit. WGTT won with a double powerbomb. Like both guy had a leg. C&C almost wrestled like faces.

Edwards promo about how he is fighting Richards at final battle. He says he has a new coach and when people chanted next world champ at the wolves, they were talking about him. Davey came out and said it's on.

Young Bucks defeated The Bravado Brothers with more bang for your buck in a fun match. The Bravados were like the faces. No handshake after.

WGTT promo where they talked about fighting the Briscoes and the ANX came out saying that WGTT needed to be talking about them.

ROH World Champ Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards defeated Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong. Really good match, best of the night. Truth had the ref distracted as Elgin killed Davey with his powerbomb. Edwards snuck in the ring and choke Elgin out. Davey got up and pinned him, but didn't know what happened.

  1. This all seems like interesting stuff to me, though I’m a little disappointed that the Briscoes are going to go over the ANX twice on TV after they finally “won the feud” in ladder war.

Eddie having a new coach could be cool, unless it’s an actual real life boring coach and not some kind of wrestling personality. Him choking out Elgin was a shocker, guess he’s turning heel.

Weird comment, but I’m glad they filmed some squashes. Some people don’t care for them but I think they’re a good way to fill five minutes, and a much better option than running 3 video packages back to back like the debut episode.

  2. The Briscoes are getting the title shots instead of ANX? I’m sorry…that’s fucking stupid.

    Ladder War = worthless.

  3. Edwards’s new trainer’s probably going to be Steen. I guess it could be Martini, but that really wouldn’t make a lot of sense. Then again, this is wrestling…
