Cheap levitra online/>What's going on fans. Since EVOLVE 7 seems to have gone the way of my colored socks in the dryer I decided to change it up a bit and go to PWG DDT 4 from February 4th 2011. Don't worry, I will be watching EVOLVE 7 after I take a bit more time to try to find it. But for now this will have to do. Not that it should take a step back at all since from what I remember this was a highly anticipated event this year so let's get right to it.

Bradon Gatson & Willie Mack vs Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson)

The YBs apparently talk about their new gear & they have their own trailer… there are trailers in the PWG parking lot? Man that $200 per appearance for TNA really upped their financial standings in life. I believe I'm look at some of the worst side burns since Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride. Willie Mack might be one of the most underrated men on the indy scene in terms of I watch him in NWA Hollywood & PWG but that is about it. This man deserves much more. Brandon Gatson on the other hand is still growing on me but every time I see him in the ring he lives up to my expectations and that is about all I can say about him.

Could the Young Bucks really be one of the best heel teams in tag team wrestling history since 2001? I think so. They really know what they're doing and as far as just being spot monkeys, their runs in PWG truly show they know how to tell a story and make their moves mean something despite what some on this site may say. Not to say I disagree entirely with a certain CHIKARA reviewer on this site *cough* but I think if they were able to bring to the table what they do in PWG that he would see a different side of the Young Bucks. This match will not do that but perhaps the whole event will. Insert Macho Man & Jeff/Matt Hardy rip off taunts here for no apparent reason. Of course semi answered minutes later with a back hand spring back rake. One of the hardest moves to perform in professional wrestling. Followed by a Willie Mack Samoan Drop/kip up/standing moonsault combo which in fact may have been one of the hardest hitting combos Willie Mack has in his arsenal. Of course it would be the Young Bucks advancing but not without one of the hardest wins they've ever had and rightfully so. Great opening match and I should point out I hope my first PWG show to be either a DDT4 or BOLA tournament.

RockNESS Monsters Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma vs American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards

A dream match for some, a stand alone contest for me. I have nothing against Goodtime or the American Wolves. Okay maybe I don't really have that much against Yuma other than his hippie hair.. but this is a match that I fully expect the American Wolves to win straight up. This is without any memory of the event or pre-viewing results so if I'm wrong, I'll admit that the American Wolves suck and should never team up again and one day face each other at the main event of an iPPV. Please make this happen wrestling gods…

A Johnny Yuma chant followed by a Davey Richards chant. Only goes to show a huge difference between a ROH crowd and a PWG crowd. Ok that isn't nice, I have fond feelings for both so I don't need to re-kindle that debate which for me almost never ends thanks to the countless emails/tweets/messages about whether or not I like PWG more than ROH or vice versa. Yuma's leg is up by his face thanks to a stretch by Davey Richards and it quite honestly made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. It also could be the fact that I had tacos from Taco Bell for dinner and that it would have happened anyway. TMI. Duly noted. Anyway a fun fast paced tag match. This match reminds me of Aries/Strong taking on Sal Rinauro & Tony Mamaluke. Much respect to RockNESS Monsters but they had no chance as I said and the American Wolves advance. As always the point of bringing in top name talent to go over local talent is to bring the local talent to another level and this match definitely did that.

Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) vs Cutler Brothers

Is there anything about the Kings of Wrestling that hasn't already been said. Antonio Cesaro is already in FCW & Hero is bound there very soon according to some sources so really this is one of the last times the KoW would be in PWG period. A great chance for The Cutler Bros to show what they can do though even like the last match I don't expect them to win. Hero & Claudio are in such great shape for this match, not to say the 2 athletic trainers aren't, but it is hard to think of them on the same level though both teams physically are quite a match in terms of strength & physique. A “meeting of the protein powder” according to Excalibur.

Joey Ryan points out that the Cutler bros seem to be feeling out the KoW but at the same time you would think that they would also want to try to save energy and just get a quick win no matter what they have to do to get it. At this point the Cutlers are faces and really the crowd is behind them but will it be enough against former and future world champions? At the same time could I ever see the Cutler Bros becoming PWG singles champions? Fun stuff that goes through my mind while I watch PWG. But as I stated above the KoW win it out.

Dream Match: The Briscoes vs Nightmare Violence Connection (Kevin Steen & Akira TOZAWA)

Steen & Tozawa just beat the

crap out of each other in a match that must be seen by everyone but seeing them team up is just a dream for me. Almost as much of a dream as seeing Super Dragon return to PWG if that were to ever happen 😉 (I must be really good at watching past shows and predicting the future) Anyway this should be a good match and I am hoping for a win for the NVC though that is a pipe dream as the Briscoes just have so much experience together. At the same time at this time Tozawa is just lighting up the wrestling world and his abilities literally break the language barrier. Steen on the other hand at the time was also a polarizing figure and this was just an ability to see him in a different light where his sadistic side was reveled in. On the other hand we get to appreciate a new meaning to the phrase 'shouting match' with Mark and Akira. And as quick as I can say botched Doomsday Device the Nightmare Violence Connection scores the victory and I am as happy as a school kid.

American Wolves vs Young Bucks

This is a dream match to be sure and no doubt PWG knew this would bring fans to their feet. Any fan of pro wrestling should just feel the excitement that the crowd is relaying through the video cam that this match is going to be something special. It is the straight man team vs the team that no man can take seriously and to be sure the antics of the Young Bucks proves that within the first five minutes. These two teams really know how to include the crowd into the match and much like the last match they know how to make the crowd get invested in every action within this bout. PWG is truly one of my favorite promotions if only because every event generally feels like a can't miss because they only run one event every month. It creates a special environment for the fans that really comes through each and every time. Of course though the Young Bucks eek out a win with a roll up and really it just makes sense but the American Wolves are already going to have a huge impact going forward in PWG.

Kings of Wrestling vs Nightmare Violence Connection aka the Kings of Sexual Intercourse Sometimes

The current PWG champion teaming with a former PWG champion against two men who are just so damned crazy that you never know what they are going to do. PWG just keeps bringing the dream matches and some moments that will live in infamy as we get a Tozawa/Steen smooch.

Gotta say this match isn't really living up to what I thought it could be but at the same time they don't want to be the same as the two previous tag bouts so I can see how this match was built up differently and in that it is definitely still entertaining. A far more deliberately paced match which I can appreciate and the obvious story here is that the KoW are going to dominate the ground work and not let a new tandem to out do them in what they are known for.

One thing I have to say is that there have been an inordinate amount of lung blowers here tonight. Just sayin. But hey, there are generally more topes than anything at a PWG show and it never makes the crowd less excited so how can I really complain about it. An incredible ending sequence and the Kings of Sexual Intercourse Sometimes score a huge upset.

Joey Ryan Invitational: Joey Ryan vs Brian Cage-Taylor vs Ryan Taylor vs Peter Avalon vs Candice LeRae

So this match starts out awesomely between the 'Fightin Taylor Boys' which is just so smart to begin with. These guys are all talents not in the DDT 4 but somehow PWG made it sensible for these guys to face eachother and showcase what they can do while still making it seem important. Why can't other promotions figure this out. A great series of ending moves for Ryan Taylor. Peter Avalon is up and this is a kid who I think is doing wonders on NWA Hollywood which you all should be watching weekly on the internet.

Candice LeRae is out and she's facing Peter Avalon but it looks as if Joey Ryan is going to interfere and kills Peter with a super kick. Which of course is going to lead to Joey Ryan vs Candice LeRae. Pretty sure this is going to lead to some fun spots but this is just filler for the main event. At this moment I'm pretty sure I have a bathroom break coming shortly. Joey Ryan gets quite the fight from Candice LeRae but of course in the end he wins and gets to challenge for the PWG title against Claudio Castagnoli.

American Nightmare Connection vs The Young Bucks

Finally getting to the main event and man I'm pumped for it even though I've been up since 5am and it's now 12:21am. The match gets started on a fast brawl and the fans even in the cheap seats are getting some close and personal interaction with the fans. Steen just shows a sadistic side here more and more as he kills the Jackson brothers with repeated power bombs on the mat edges. This seems more like a Geurilla Warfare match with all the outside usage of tools and the early destruction of Akira Tozawa. Seems like it will be an easy win for the former DDT4 winners & the longest reigning PWG tag champs in PWG history.

As to be expected but still just as exciting Tozawa returns to the match to help save his partner and Steen is not letting anything stop him from putting on the sharp shooter and holding it on Matt Jackson. But after a ton of super kicks and some awesome double team moves the Young Bucks are once again DDT4 winners and a shot at the Tag Titles who at the moment are El Generico & Paul London.

A fun night of wrestling as expected. Of course as I finish this up I just realize where my EVOLVE 7 DVD is so I will be watching it tomorrow for day 4. Thanks for tolerating my ramblings and feel free to leave comments and anything else you want to say here on PWP. Spread the word. I'm going to make the 30 days.. I garuntee it.
