I can't believe what I tripped onto, but instead of having to over indulge our Twitter feed with results, I'm going to be able to provide updates on the actual website. I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors or typos. Also, if I lose wi-fi, I will continue updating the results on our Twitter @pwponderings. Depending on time, I may include some thoughts on the matches as well. Show should be starting soon enough, and I will be updating throughout the evening. Also, I promise at least three or four tasteless jokes since I'm under contractual obligation.

So apparently the show isn't going to start until 7:30. While we're waiting, let's talk about the sights and sounds of Resistance Pro. Walking in, it was hard not to notice the Barbarian. The man is huge. If he wrestles tonight, I will legit mark like a 10 year old kid. I also found out the next show will be on May 11 at a brand new venue. I will include more details later on in the evening.

The show opens with Darcy Dixon and someone who's name I believe is Eric St. Vaughn posing. They're both muscular. Darcy complains about her treatment in the promotion. She says it's obvious how good of a job she's doing. The former Lou E. Dangerously is in the ring right now. Billy Corgan comes down. Lou E. apologizes. He calls the promotion great. Crowd wants him dead.  Corgan begins walking away, and Lou immediately begins burying him all over again. He talks about ECW and buries Chicago by comparing us to the Smashing Pumpkins. Corgan takes the microphone away, and Lou is escorted away from the ring.

The first wrestling match is “M-Dogg” Matt Cross & Mr. 450 Darrell Hammett vs. Tripp Cassidy & Big Sue Jackson. Excited to see Hammett. P.S. I'm a huge mark for all the music in this promotion. Chris Hall decks Hammett even before the bell rings and the match is on. Now Hall is M-Dogg's partner.

Mr. 450 comes back looking none the worse for wear and hits a 450 splash on Cross. Hall hits a Vader bomb on Cassidy's back. He puts Cross on top for three. Highlights of the match were Cross's in-ring work and his subsequent promo. I was impressed.

Up next is a spotlight between ACH and Robert Anthony. This is one of the matches I'm most looking forward to.

Robert Anthony defeats ACH with a surfboard slam. He really doesn't get his just do as a worker. He did an excellent job allowing ACH to be the high flyer and everything in his power to slow the match down. Very good second of the match of the Night. Hope both guys make frequent returns to the Chicago area.

Serenity and Taylor Made in the next match. Made is wrestling on behalf of the women's champion, who is Melanie Cruz. She is out on crutches and unable to defend the belt.

After some whipping, Serenity hits a bulldog counter to get the win. Heel beatdown from Cruise and her associate after the match.

Cruise says she won't be able to make a title defense in 90 days, but she is scheduled to face TNA's Angelina Love sometime in the next 90 days.

Sean Waltman and “Lonesome”Jay Bradley are up next.

Jay Bradley completely no sells the bronco buster and lariats Waltman straight to hell. With the exception of a couple screw-ups, this was a good match. Waltman played pure babyface well. Bradley talks some garbage and goes over Waltman's accomplishments. Then he says he just beat his ass. He wants his title shot and says mean things about Rhino.

Up next if the final qualifying match in the tag team tournament. It will be Samuray Del Sol & Lince Dorado vs. John Skyler & Ashton Vuitton. Another match I'm very interested in.

Lince and Samuray win a show stealing tag team match. All four guys looked awesome. Best match of the night so far. The DVD may be worth it just to see this match.

The Almighty Sheik to wrestle Stephen Walters next.

Walters definitely deserves to be booked in other places. He looked super impressive and even hit a cross body off the top of one of the barristers, which is three to four feet higher than the top rope. Nothing Sheik can do will ever deflate the dislike I have for him. I take what I can, Walters's impressive performance. and move on.

Walters turns heel, renounces the United States, and joins up with Sheik because he's tired of losing matches. So after a truly crowd-pleasing performance that earned the fans' cheers, he's now aligned with the top heel who just beat him relatively clean.

Main event time as Harry Smith defends the R-Pro heavyweight title against Rhino. Rhino is putting up the physical ECW title he won back in 2001.

One major plus to these shows is no intermission. Love it. Wish other indies would take the cue.

The former Lou E. Dangerously tries to take the ECW belt just as Rhino is about to tap out to the sharpshooter. Dangerously bumps into the referee, and the match is declared a no-contest. These two were having a really good power type match until the finish.  Rhino asks for the match to be restarted. Corgan comes down and swears a lot. He makes a cage match between Smith and Rhino for May 11. Raven comes down and makes himself the referee. He promises to be unbiased and a straight shooter.
