METROLINA TRADESHOW EXPO NC
Estimated Attendance 400

Said to be a packed house and we’re about to start the opening match.

Show opens with Jay Lethal cutting the same promo he did on TV about not having killer instinct and that’s why he kicked Taven’s “balls into his stomach”.

Jay Lethal def Adam Page in 13:08 via Lethal Injection
Said to have great opening match action including lots of chops to get the NC crowd WOOOing & Page hitting a shooting star press from apron to the floor.

“No Fear” Mike Mondo def “God’s Gift” QT Marshall in 11:15 via double underhook DDT
Match said to not be very good. Mondo apparently botched a cross arm breaker twice.

BATTLE OF NC’s OWN
Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander defeat Harlem and Lancelot, The Bravados in 19:56 via standing ranna-frog splash combo

First streamers of the night for Cedric and Caprice who are local to NC. Said to really bring the crowd to their feet and really cheer for ROH action.

Davey Richards is out to address the crowd. He puts over the tag match. He says, ” I love wrestling, more importantly, I love it in a ROH ring.” He also name drops Samoa Joe & Bryan Danielson. Says he’s very ashamed of the person he’s been out of the ring the last year. That he put his trust in the wrong people but that the WOLF is back! Says he’s gonna come out later and watch a match later in the evening, probably the O’Reilly/Cole match and says he’ll be at Death Before Dishonor in Chicago.

Mike Posey defeats Jeff Lewis Neal via a top rope leg drop
Post match Corino and Jacobs attack both men. ROH Kevin Steen is out to talk. Says that since Cornette isn’t here tonight he is cancelling the main event because he doesn’t want to get injured before DBDH. Titus comes out & all three men beat him up. Briscoes are out for the save to a huge pop.

Ring Announcer Corky Franks announces that Officials will fine Steen if he doesn’t compete tonight so the Main Event is on.

Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) defeats The House of Truth (Unbreakable Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong) w/ Truth Martini in 14:45 via Haas submitting Strong with the Haas of Pain
Haas being very aggressive with ringside fans who are now chanting “Roid Rage” at him. There is a lot of trouble between Elgin and Strong already. Strong slapped Elgin at one point and has led to the WGTT being in control. Elgin went for a hot tag but Strong bailed on him. When Strong was put in the submission, he could have broken it up but left the ring.

PROVING GROUND – Best In The World Return Match Kyle O’Reilly defeats ROH World TV Champion Adam Cole in 15:48 via rollup out of a German Suplex attempt after Cole bumped him into Richards who got on the apron to “inadvertently” distract Cole
Davey Richards is out to watch this match. O’Reilly thus should be getting a future shot at the TV title.

MAIN EVENT SIX MAN STEEL CAGE WAR
The Briscoes and Rhett Titus defeat ROH World Champion Kevin Steen, Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino

It has taken 30+ minutes to set up the cage. Keep with us folks. Said to start on the floor and just a really brutal brawl. Blood is already flowing. Took about five minutes to even get it in the cage with both Briscoes already bleeding. Mark took a long time to make it into the cage. It was a 3 on 2 advantage for SCUM against Jay & Titus. Jay is losing a lot of blood and it is showing. Mark Briscoe climbs the cage and hits moonsault from top of cage.

Post match Lethal comes from the back to attack the heels trying to prove his killer instinct to end the show.
