This week: The real main event, the Raw After Wrestlemania (aka RAW) brings fun, frivolity and most importantly of all, Fandangoing. Proof that wrestling is more fun when you embrace the fun and crowds go to shows determined to have fun. Take note, whatever city Raw is in on Monday. Plus, Ziggler finally cashes in, Ryback goes rogue, Wade writes a Wrestlemania wrong and the Regal versus Ohno showdown on NXT.

RAW

– Cena came out with his new belt and new t-shirt. He did his Cena routine, with all the good and bad that entails. At points the crowd weren’t playing along, at points Cena was playing the crowd. Eventually he said he was willing to defend his title tonight and threw out some suggestions, but Mark Henry interrupted. Fans chanted Sexual Chocolate. Booker interrupted their plans for a match and said The Rock was number one contender. Boos for that. He said if Henry could beat Cena tonight, then he’d get a title shot.

Big E Langston d. Daniel Bryan in 2:20. Ziggler crotched Bryan on the top rope and Big E threw Bryan out of the ring into Kane, before hitting the Big Ending for the pin.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett d. The Miz (c) in 9:44 to win the title. Crowd were clearly pro Barrett. And clearly heavily British. Wade took control with a neckbreaker on the apron and even did a Cactus Jack elbow off the apron. Miz fought back and got the figure four, but Barrett made the ropes. He then won with the Bull Hammer, ending Miz’s reign after one day.

– Brad and Vickie were backstage. Sheamus asked for a match with Big Show and Vickie agreed. Orton then asked Booker for the same thing. Booker said Show already had a match but Orton convinced him he could overrule Vickie.

Two On One Handicap Match: Alberto Del Rio d. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter in 7:56. Before the match, Zeb asked the crowd to chant USA. The crowd decided they’d rather chant for Ziggler. Colter never tagged in, as Alberto survived the ankle lock a couple of times and beat Swagger with the cross armbreaker. After the match doctors came in to check on Alberto’s ankle, when Ziggler came out to a gigantic reaction and cashed in Money In The Bank.

World Championship: Dolph Ziggler d. Alberto Del Rio (c) in 2:04 to win the title. Ziggler attacked the ankle straight away but Alberto kicked out of a fameasser. Del Rio fought back enough to get the cross armbreaker. Ziggler escaped by attacking the injured ankle though, before hitting the Zig Zag to win the title. Another massive reaction for that.

– Undertaker came out. He dedicated his win at Wrestlemania to Paul Bearer, but was immediately interrupted by The Shield. The Shield surrounded Undertaker, but Kane’s pyro went off and Team Hell No ran out to even the odds, forcing The Shield to retreat.

– Josh interviewed Ziggler backstage, who said this was his Wrestlemania moment and said it was about damn time.

R-Truth, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder d. 3MB (Santino pinned Slater) in 2:29. Santino beat Heath with the Cobra. This happened.

– Orton and Sheamus argued backstage. They announce a Raw Active vote to decide which would face Big Show. Then, when the results came in, Vickie and Booker decided to put them in a match with each other to decide who faced Big Show instead.

Randy Orton and Sheamus went to a no contest when Big Show interfered. So this didn’t go well. Or went great, depending on your point of view. The crowd decided to amuse themselves by chanting stuff instead. We got an Ole chant, then chants for Mike Chioda, RVD, JBL (whose reaction was priceless), Jerry and Michael Cole. The fans did the wave and there was a Randy Savage chant, before Big Show finally came out and beat up both guys. This was a spectacle.

Fandango d. Kofi Kingston by DQ in 1:30. Speaking of spectacle. The crowd decided to sing along with Fandango’s theme song and it was amazing. Jericho ran out and attacked Fandango almost immediately. He beat the hell out of Fandango around ringside, put him in the Walls and hit a Codebreaker. Fandango, bravely, still managed to say his name after this beating. And then the crowd danced.

– Josh interviewed Heyman, who said Brock was ready for a fight tonight, but he wouldn’t let him fight for free. He then announced Punk would tell everyone how he feels, next week.

Brodus Clay, Tensai and The Funkadactyls d. Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins (Brodus pinned Sandow) in 2:27. Aka the rightful Wrestlemania main event. People were still Fandangoing during this match, which ended with Sandow suffering a double splash.

John Cena d. Mark Henry by count out in 3:16. Cena danced to the Fandangoing briefly. Sometimes he’s hard to hate. Cena beat the count in a nothing finish. Afterwards, Henry gave Cena a World’s Strongest Slam. Ryback came out and laid out Henry. He helped Cena up, but clotheslined him out of nowhere and gave Cena the Shell Shocked.

MAIN EVENT

The Shield d. Brodus Clay, Tensai and Kofi Kingston (Rollins pinned Kofi) in 7:58. The Funkadactyls got sent backstage by Brodus. Brodus and co fared pretty well for a while before Tensai was cut off. Kofi ran wild but was clotheslined by Ambrose. Rollins hit a flying knee and Reigns speared Brodus to allow Rollins to get the pin. They gave both Tensai and Brodus the triple powerbomb after the match as well.

– Striker interviewed Big E, in place of Ziggler, who Big E claimed was too busy for him. Big E was annoyed he lost at Wrestlemania, but happy he and Ziggler won on Raw and promised to have that much fun again tonight.

Big E Langston d. Zack Ryder in 1:15. Unlike Raw Big E came out to his NXT theme here. Big E won in a total squash with the Big Ending. Both of these things are positives.

Jack Swagger d. Yoshi Tatsu by submission in 4:39. Zeb insulted the crowd for liking ice hockey before the match. Then he was racist to Yoshi. He offered Yoshi a handshake to apologise then got Yoshi to bow and of course Swagger jumped him. Swagger won with the Patriot Lock, but Yoshi at least got some offence in.

NXT

The Shield d. Percy Watson, Axl Keegan and Scott Dawson (Rollins pinned Keegan) in 2:17. Shield jumped their opponents before the match. Crowd were solidly behind The Shield here. They dominated and won when Rollins hit the flying knee while Ambrose had Keegan in a surfboard, then followed with a standing sliced bread. Afterwards Dawson suffered a triple powerbomb. Corey Graves appeared on the big screen and said he didn’t believe in them, because NXT was his wasteland not theirs and challenged one of them next week. Rollins accepted and told Ambrose and Reigns they could have the night off.

– Tony Dawson interviewed Summer Rae. She claimed the reason she walked out on her match last week was because she remembered she’d left her curling iron on. She claimed she’d have ended Paige’s career if not for that.

– Renee interviewed Emma. She compared herself to Lady Gaga and Madonna. She found the idea people called her a klutz funny. When she left, she tripped over the microphone cable.

The Bella Twins d. The Funkdactyls (Nikki pinned Cameron) in 3:39. The Bellas isolated Cameron and beat her with a double rolling leg bar. I’m sure there’s a more technical name for it. This had a couple of clunky moments but who cares? Not I.

– Dawson interviewed Ohno, who had a Real Man’s Man t-shirt on. Ohno said he’d seen so much of Regal, but nobody would see him or hear him again after tonight. Later Renee interviewed Regal, who hoped his children forgave him for what he was about to do.

William Regal d. Kassius Ohno in 13:04. This started technically and Regal had largely the better of it. Halfway through the match he started attacking Ohno’s fingers. Ohno sold that one was dislocated. He kicked Regal’s head against the post and Regal seemed knocked silly. Ohno couldn’t use his cravat properly because his hand was injured. Ohno escaped a Regal Stretch, but Regal survived a big boot and intercepted a rolling elbow, before winning with the Knee Trembler.

SUPERSTARS

The Usos d. Primo and Epico (Jey pinned Epico) in 7:11. Jey ran wild and hit the superfly splash over Primo, before Jimmy kept Primo from making a save with a superkick

Great Khali d. Darren Young in 2:24. Young was able to get Khali down briefly before losing to the big chop.

SMACKDOWN

– Big E did a special, Ricardo style introduction for Ziggler. Ziggler must have had a pretty good celebration because he sounded pretty hoarse. He said the future was now. Dolph said everyone would love to join his celebration, but it belonged to him, not the fans. Swagger and Colter interrupted and congratulated him, but said Ziggler should be thanking Swagger. He told Swagger to get to the back of the line. Del Rio limped out and said he knew what it was like to cash in Money In The Bank, but when his ankle healed, Ziggler would be the one complaining. Dolph dared anyone else to interrupt him. Jericho did, to announce Booker had given him a match with Ziggler tonight.

Team Hell No! d. The Primetime Players (Bryan submitted Titus) in 1:41. Kane gave Darren a chokeslam while Bryan won with the NO Lock. The Shield appeared on the screen and warned they weren’t afraid of them, they just knew when to strike.

Wade Barrett d. Santino Marella in 2:25. Santino kept trying to nip up all match. He finally managed it and went for the Cobra, but Barrett countered and hit the Bull Hammer.

– Sheamus and Orton both complained to Booker. Teddy and Booker are still acting passive aggressive for some reason. Booker made a handicap match tonight.

The Bella Twins and Tamina Snuka d. The Funkadactyls and Kaitlyn (Nikki pinned Naomi) in 1:31. Kaitlyn hit the spear early but the pin was broken up and The Bellas recovered to beat Naomi after she was tripped off the ropes.

– HHH came out with his arm in a cast, but was interrupted by 3MB. They threatened to jump him to get noticed and said what Lesnar did was nothing compared to what they’d do. They surrounded HHH but The Shield’s music hit. The Shield beat up 3MB, then surrounded Triple H themselves. Kane and Bryan ran out to make the save though and The Shield retreated again.

– Big Show complained about the handicap match to Booker. He threatened to leave, since he had his iron clad contract. Booker warned him he’d take him to court. Teddy had already left annoyed by this point. I’ve zero idea where all this is going.

Two On One Handicap Match: Randy Orton and Sheamus d. Big Show by count out in 4:02. So Big Show did in fact walk out and take a count out, after taking an RKO and a Brogue Kick.

– Renee interviewed Sheamus, after Orton walked off. Mark Henry appeared out of nowhere and tackled Sheamus into a table.

Kofi Kingston d. Antonio Cesaro in 3:07. Cesaro strong for the most part and almost won with the pop up uppercut. Kofi hit a Trouble In Paradise out of nowhere though and got the win.

Dolph Ziggler d. Chris Jericho in 7:37. Before the match Fandango danced out to watch from ringside. There was some Fandangoing for him. Ziggler took control when Fandango got on the apron to distract the referee, to allow AJ to trip Jericho. Fandango then kicked Jericho during the commercial. Jericho fought back, taking out Big E as well. He almost won with a Lionsault, before dropkicking Fandango off the apron. But Fandango distracted the referee and Big E hit Jericho as he applied the Walls, then Ziggler rolled him up for the pin. Jericho tried to attack after the match but it was 3 on 1. Ziggler hit a Zig Zag and Big E gave him the Big Ending. Then once they’d left, Fandango attacked and gave Jericho the legdrop off the top.

What You (Probably) Need To See:
– Miz versus Barrett on Raw.
– Ziggler’s cash in, the Fandangoing and the Sheamus and Orton fan hijacking.
– The Shield’s match on Main Event.
– And Regal versus Ohno on NXT.
