Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino are on commentary to start the show. Everybody is already chanting “Man up!” We have minor buffering issues. Hopefully these get resolved quickly.

B.J. Whitmer beat Mike Bennett with an exploder suplex. Lots of buffering issues in this match. They immediately spilled to the outside and did their deal out there. Their teasing tension between the power couple and Maria.

American Wolves beat A.C.H. And Tadarius Thomas. Thomas and A.C.H. Are apparently called Adrenaline Rush now. When did this happen? Super fast-paced match, except for some really, really slow spots. Oh you mean that’s just the stream continuing to buffer? Alright then. The crowd is chanting “This is awesome!” I wouldn’t know. It came back in time for a German suplex-superkick combo from the Wolves for a nearfall. I feel like I missed a really fun match. Fans chanted “That was awesome” afterward. Damn.

They went to a package for Strong and Cole, with Cole refusing to shake Roddy’s hand. For a guy who has been a disrespectful trouble maker for the past several years, I don’t understand why Roddy would care either way. But I guess he does so now they’ll wrestle. Yay. Now the stream is just totally gone.

We won’t be able to provide a live review but we will continue to bring you results from the show.

Adam Cole def Roderick Strong via Count-Out. Cole superkicked Roddy late on ring apron. Strong fell through a ringside table. Cole went to bring him in the ring, but at the 15 count threw him down & took the count out win. Corino praised Cole post-match and walked towards entrance doing so. Fans booed Cole, cheered Strong (Credit @thethomasBobo)

Elgin def Ciampa – Amazing match, very back & forth. Elgin used 2 spinning backfists, hangmans roaring elbow & armed clothesline to finally secure the win. Incredibly stiff. Both shake hands post-match.
– R.D. Evans replaced Corino on commentary beginning in this match.

Intermission

We are back from Intermission and Chris GST here. The buffering continues to go between really poor and then high quality. The buffering is annoying and I have tried to go back a tick to see if it works, but it really hasn’t worked so far. I will continue the coverage.

ROH TV triple threat match: Matt Taven def Jacobs & Lethal to retain
Sadly with the buffering issues I didn’t even see the beginning of this match but so far the triple threat is starting hot and heavy with all three men battling on the outside.

Taven using a double underhook face plant on Jacobs and slamming him onto Lethal was a nice touch. So far from what I’ve been able to watch (this is like watching a 1996 ECW fan tape in terms of quality, might be even worse) the guys have really used the three man element in this to their strength instead of it seeming like lengthy single man matches in between opponents.

And we have a wardrobe malfunction in the ring thanks to Lethal on Scarlett Bordeaux on purpose. . Seleziya Sparx picked up Jimmy Jacobs in an air raid crash position and then Lethal super kicked her. Taven won when Jacobs hit Lethal with a cutter, then Martini held Jacobs leg, while Taven stole the pin. (credit @tourneymaster) This streaming issue is just sad.

ROH Tag Titles: Triple Threat redRagon def SCUM & Coleman & Alexander
This is under one fall rule also as Nigel and Kevin Kelly had to clarify that multiple times. Good job getting that message over to the viewers. reDRagon really working on their heel tactics taking some notes out of the Young Bucks book with the misleading offense. reDRagon retained by pinning Cedric Alexander by O’Reilly after Fish kicked Cedric in the head.

No DQ: Matt Hardy def Kevin Steen with a twist of fate on two chairs
Steve Corino is in the ring cutting a promo and still proving why he’s one of the best at doing so. Hope any aspiring talent who has a chance to go to one of his seminars or learn from him takes advantage of it.

This match is now no DQ. Of course this means they are using weapons and Steve Corino even brought a ladder from the back. On some good commentary notes, Nigel and Kelly are bringing up if SCUM comes out, will any of the ROH talents come to Steen’s aid which should have been the story they told all along. Steen’s rolling cannonball with a garbage can laid on Matt in the corner a la PWG style is always fun to see. Titus came out but got nailed by Steen. It lead to Hardy taking control and hitting two side effects. We almost got number three through a table but Steen reverses it and Jacobs came out and moved the table. Jacobs would get two power bombs on the ring apron for his trouble. Matt Hardy took a powerbomb as well. Compton came out and nailed Steen in the back with a chair and continued to do so at the behest of Corino. Then.. my stream cut out. When I come back the ladder was used by Steen in a code breaker position on Hardy to get a two followed by a F-Cinq which also got a two count. Side effect from Hardy to Steen on the ladder gets us another near fall and these two really are working their butts off to give us a good match with these weapons. A twist of fate through two chairs gets Hardy the win. They beat up Steen after the match and no one comes to Steen’s aid, even with Nigel mentioning it on commentary. This just shows that the ROH locker room doesn’t trust Steen yet.

ROH World Championship: Jay Briscoe def Mark Briscoe with three jay drillers
Shout out to Larry Legend who got to talk with the Briscoe clan before the match.

Dueling Mark/Jay chants at BITW. Pretty awesome to see how far these two have come to not being able to wrestle in 2002 because Mark wasn’t old enough to now battling for the World Championship eleven years later. Lots of hiccups along that road but credit where it is due, these two deserve the main event spot.

Now the brothers are both setting up a table to be used later on the match… but on each other. So weird. Both men are working very hard from what I can tell and so far this has been a worthy main event, albeit a few slow spots. The Mark/Jay chants really are making this fun. Froggy-Bo by Mark puts Jay through a table and Mark is in control in the ring. Just realized, with the redneck kung fu and the black pants, Mark Briscoe is totally Steve Blackman. Cut throat driver gets Mark a near fall, a damn close one too. A Jay driller got Jay a close one too. These two really are putting it all on the line here in the end. A second one and Mark still kicks out! Three Jay drillers and the match is finally over. Gotta say this was a good one. Thank you for joining us guys.

  1. If you go back on the show by a few minutes the stream works perfectly. I just went back to the beginning (with the show now in intermission) and the show couldn’t be running any smoother. You won’t be watching it live if you do that but it definitely works.

  2. Even if I wasn’t on an ROH ban right now I’m never ordering an iPPV from then ever again. Not because of the streaming issues but the fact that you can only keep them for a full year. Only rfvideo has a worse system than that but to be fair COMPLETELY worse. Keeping a 15 dollar VOD show for only two weeks?
