A “packed to the rafters” house watched Magnum Pro Wrestling ‘UNSANCTIONED’ last night at the eagles club in council bluffs iowa. 7 solid matches, the results are as follows.
In the opener, the team of Guns and Beer (Derek Cornell and Brian Gott) defeated Buck Albright and Mikey Danger. Good opener with many good comedy spots. Dissention between the losing team after the match.
Strongman Nate Anderson defeated the Omaha Chainsaw S.M. King. Hard hitting contest saw both men get in some good moves. Anderson continues his winning ways.
Donnie Peppercricket defeated the returning Leslie Ray. Ray had most of the offense throughout the match, but the “pop icon” prevailed.
The Pain Syndicate defeated the Omaha Bears. After the match, Kodiak Kreed turned on his partner David Clark with a ‘Bears Strongest Slam’, thus ending the partnership.
Devin Carter defeated Supafli for the second month in a row by cheating. This time he held on the ropes to score the pinfall. Fast paced match.
The ‘Bulletproof Tiger’ Jaysin Strife and his partner, ring announcer Pete Sanctions defeated Team Lariat. The winners were all heart in this one, Strife looked legit hurt at the end. Sean Nautilus challenged Sanctions to a hair vs. Career match for next month…and its on!
Main event saw Magnum Pro champ Jayden Draigo victorious over Hype Gotti. Gotti hit his finish, the lights went out and the retired Tony Cortez showed up and hit Gotti with his version of CrossRhodes and draped Draigo over the fallen Hype for the three count. Draigo didn’t seem happy with the help, I’m sure that will be addressed shortly.
Overall great night of wrestling, the workers go above and beyond to give the Magnum Pro fans their moneys worth. Well booked, and puts an ass in every seat.
