BC Killer beat Pinky with a second rope splash.
Fans were very into Pinkie. Pinkie got slammed on the guardrail allowing BC to control the match until Pinkie came back with a nasty lariat. Both guys docked each other with lariats and went down. Pinkie hit a swinging side slam for a nearfall. Pinkie went for a chokeslam but Killer raked the eyes and hit a fallaway slam. Killer splashed Pinkie for the win.
Carnage beat CJ Kurz in a Secret Weapon in a Bag Match with a double footstomp onto glass.
The stipulation of the match is whoever is able to retrieve a bag will get to use the secret weapon concealed within. The weapon in question turned out to be a stapler. Carnage put the stapler in the middle of the ring and both guys dared each other to go for it. They put multiple staple in each other’s faces. Carnage attempted to staple Kurz in the eye! Eventually both guys brought in chairs and had a chair fight. Kurz missed a legdrop, allowing Kurz to grab some light tubes. Carnage hit an exploder for a nearfall after Kurz missed a springboard. A flying tube hit this reporter in the arm. Kurz had a tough time breaking the glass on Carnage, so finally he hit a 450 on the glass to break it and the crowd cheered. Carnage did a double-foot stomp on glass which was on Kurz’s face for the win.
The Born Stars beat Robby Phoenix and Lucha Machine with the condom-assisted Mandible Claw.
Comedy heavy match, which was a relief after the last brutal match. Toward the end of the match one of the Born Stars whipped out a condom, proclaiming it to be called Mr. Cocko, and used the mandible claw and knocked out Phoenix. Afterwards they cut an anti-luchador promo. Unfortunately the promo was also anti-microphone, so we couldn’t hear it.
Mikey O’Shea beat Tito Escondido and B-Boy in a three-way with a spinning STO to B-Boy.
Your typical three-way with everyone breaking up pins and the like. At one point B-Boy took a seat and watched Tito and O’Shea fight. B-Boy put Escondido in a Figure Four and then caught O’Shea in an ankle lock. Tito hit a tornado DDT to O’Shea and caught B-Boy with a dropkick on the way down. O’Shea hit a double chokeslam for a nearfall on both guys. This was the first match of the night to kick into that all-important next gear.
They announced Homeless Jimmy for the Nov. 2 show, also at the Dome in Huntington Park.
Luke Hawx beat Eric Watts with a slingshot DDT to win a shot at the Mex Pro Heavyweight Title.
A big guy match, with both guys hitting big power moves for nearfalls. The finish was very cool.
Messiah beat Famous B to win the Mex Pro heavyweight title.
They worked a lot on the outside, with Famous B trying to call for a time out and whipping Messiah into the post. They fought on the ropes until B hit a headbutt, sending Messiah off the top, but missed the follow-up senton. Luke Hawx arrived and tripped up Famous B, allowing Messiah to hit his move and win. Both guys shook hands afterward.
JD Horror came out and challenged anyone to a death match. Carnage answered the challenge.
Carnage beat JD Horror in a death match with a flaming right hook.
They used thumbtacks immediately, and Horror headbutted a light tube into Carnage. Immediately, Carnage is bleeding. DDT onto the tubes by Carnage. Carnage set tubes up on Horror’s chest and dropped his knees, creating a glass explosion. Horror dropped Carnage onto a set of rat traps. I’m trying to review this objectively but I’m so uncomfortable watching this. Carnage rubbed salt into Horror’s cuts and sprinkled salt into an already tack and glass-filled ring. Horror returned the favor. The crowd called for tables. They opted for barbed wire instead. They stacked about 30 light tubes up and both guys went through it. Finally, because what’s a death match without fire, Carnage lit his hand on fire and hit a rolling right hook to pin Horror.
