‘The Xperience’ Ep. 10 opens with footage recapping last week’s big debut for Kyle Matthews defeating Adam Page and Corey Hollis telling Page to take his opportunities and make his money when he can. Hollis tells Page to think about it. The recap continues showing Worst Case Scenario successfully defending their PWX tag titles against The Bravado Brothers from last week’s main event. Finally, we see John Skyler’s words from last week, warning “Man Scout” Jake Manning that The “Southern Savior” is REAL.
Bruce Snyder & Chris Shore welcome us to Episode 10 and run down tonight’s main event, which will finally be a 1 on 1 showdown between PWX Champion Caleb Konley and the man who physically posesses that title belt which he feels he is the true owner of, Corey Hollis. Also tonight, Former partners & PWX Tag Champions collide as “The Southern Savior” John Skyler takes on “Man Scout” Jake Manning 1 on 1.
In Case You Missed It: Over the Summer PWX held a “Lethal Lottery” style tag tournament to crown new PWX Tag Team Champions, Manning & Skyler were paired up in that tournament and won the PWX tag titles. Skyler took off on a tour of the UK(with his half of the titles) and Manning defended the titles alone for 2 months before Skyler returned, superkicking Manning in Hickory, NC costing the ultra talented, yet incompatible duo to lose the titles.

Match Recap: Ring Announcer Corky Franks introduces a surprise, Special guest referee for this match “The King of Old School” Steve Corino!!
Skyler & Manning both make their entrances and Corino addresses “Man Scout” Corino says he knows Jake is confused and upset but Corino says he created the tournament which ultimately won them the titles and if the two could’ve put their differences aside they could’ve been the best team in PWX history. Corino says he knows the two can have another great match tonight against one another. Corino wants the two to shake hands, Manning obliges but unsurprisingly Skyler wants none of it. The two tie up, Manning goes for a closed fist punch but Corino is right in the middle of it and Skyler grabs an armbar. Manning reverses out and into a pinning combination for a two count and the former partners reset and lock up once again. Neither man can get the advantage, trading wrist locks and Skyler slaps Manning in the face which fires up The Man Scout, who slams Skyler, gives him a low boot and delivers a stalling suplex for a near fall. Skyler rakes the eyes and takes over, posting Jake on three of the four corners, as he goes to the fourth, Manning no sells it an goes right back on offense, hitting a top rope clothesline after flipping over the top rope “Ric Flair” style on a reversal of an irish whip. The Southern Savior always has a shortcut and he dumps Manning to the floor, the two exchange chops, Manning rolls Skyler in to prevent a countout and the two brawl out into the crowd. Skyler signals for the piledriver on the outside as Corino admonishes him not to do it, Skyler trips Manning up and slingshots The Man Scout hard into the ring post. Manning gets back to his feet and Skyler goes back on the attack, Manning tries to fight back but is still too injured to mount any sort of comeback. Skyler chops The Man Scout but receives some chops of his own but again can’t mount a comeback as Skyler locks in a chinlock. Manning with a head of steam but runs right into a picture perfect dropkick from The Southern Savior. Man Scout again tries to fight back with the support of the crowd and buys himself some time with a back drop, hits a back elbow, and follows with a knee drop/neckbreaker combo. The straps come down for The Man Scout and he goes for the “hanging piledriver” on the middle ropes, but Skyler counters with a spear through the ropes. Skyler looks to finish Manning off with the superkick but Manning catches himand hits the combination flatliner/back suplex for a nearfall and this battle of former partners continues! The two get back to a vertical base and trade punches, again Manning goes to the piledriver but Skyler avoids it again and puts Jake up on the top rope. Skyler, looking for a superplex but Manning this time avoids it and goes for a diving headbutt but misses! Skyler goes to his tights for a foreign object but Corino blocks Skyler’s punch and takes the object. As Corino gets rid of the object The Southern Savior kicks Manning with a low blow and gets a cradle pin to pick up the win.

Match Analysis: This one had been a long time coming and two of the best in the Carolinas delivered. When these two names were drawn for the “Lethal Lottery” tag tournament, fans immediately knew this team COULD be a force to be reckoned with but it was not to be. Manning defended the titles honorably and tried to conduct himself as such in this match, but dishonor won out as Skyler used whatever means he needed to get the win over his former partner. ***
Corey Hollis is shown backstage with the PWX Championship, Hollis says it wasn’t personal it was just business but Konley couldn’t understand that, so tonight Corey Hollis takes over…EVERYTHING!
A recap is shown from the last 6 weeks between Caleb Konley & Corey Hollis. Konley first tells the crowd Hollis has taken his belt like a “little boy” instead of fighting him for it, then we see Hollis saying he respects Konley and feigning giving the championship back to Caleb. Hollis instead attacked the PWX champ and inside the belt bag was a box that read “Not Today” All this leads up to our main event.
Back to the booth with Bruce & Shore, who talk about the upcoming main event, Shore thinks Konley will leave still the PWX Champion and they send it back to ring announcer Corky Franks.
PWX Championship Match
“The Midnight Son” Caleb Konley(c) vs Corey Hollis
Match Recap: Just as the bell rings, Konley cannot wait one second longer to get his hands on the “paper champion” and goes straight for him, Hollis bails out but Konley hits a suicide dive immediately and chops Hollis around the outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Konley goes for his “OH! Face” submission early but Hollis finds the ropes and drapes Konley across the top rope as the challenger takes over on the champion. Hollis & Konley exchange knife edge chops, but it’s Hollis with a snap suplex keeping the advantage and wearing Caleb down with a rear chin lock. Konley gets a two count from a sunset flip, but Hollis hits a running knee and just stomps on the throat of Konley, retaining the advantage once more. Hollis continues to ground Konley, as Bruce & Shore comment that Hollis is playing a mental game, just as much as a physical one. Again the Pwx champion won’t go away, and he hits a tornado DDT from the middle rope, and the two start trading blows in the middle of the ring, Hollis goes for a snap mare, Konley avoids it and hits a bridging suplex for a nearfall. Konley with the firemans carry cradle DVD for another nearfall, and Hollis is now the one fighting back against the Champ’s advantage. Hollis again drapes Konley over the top rope and goes to the top but takes too long & The Midnight Son delivers a running kick, followed up by a turnbuckle brainbuster!!! Hollis smartly rolls out of the ring, or perhaps just happened to fall that way. Either way the match most certainly would’ve been over had Konley been able to cover his opponent immediately but the delay of getting Hollis back in the ring allows the challenger to kick out. Konley goes back to the “OH! Face” and cant get him rolled over, Konley tries for a powerbomb but Hollis rolls through and hits the “Clash” nearly winning TRUE posession of the PWX title, but Konley narrowly escapes. The two go back and forth countering one another until Hollis hits a modified “Attitude Adjustment” but again the champion kicks out. The two rivals are back to slugging it out in the middle of the ring & Konley gets an ensuguiri but both men are spent. Hollis digs deep and hits the modified spinning neckbreaker and locks in a cross face chicken wing on the champion, Konley tries to get to the ropes and Hollis locks in a “Cattle Mutilation” but Konley reverses into a “Cop Killah” for a near fall. The action is as quick as it gets in PWX at this point, and Hollis responds with a standing sliced bread, but again Konley kicks out at the last second and both Hollis & Konley are very frustrated pushing the referee. Hollis hits a middle rope “Pedigree” and still cannot put the champion away!! Konley with a small package pin, avoids the roaring elbow by Hollis and The Midnight Son gets a rolling cradle for the pin to retain his championship.
Post Match: Hollis nails Sr. Referee Mitch Blalock and take the PWX title, Cedric Alexander comes out to Konley’s age, but Hollis nails Alexander with the title. Adam Page is out next and takes the title from Hollis then turns around and nails Caleb Konley with the title, following it up with a “Plow Driver” modified Jig & Tonic. Finally, Zane Riley hits the ring with a chair in hand, chasing Page & Hollis out of the ring, but Luke Gallows shows up and hits a big boot and a lariat on Riley. Hollis takes the mic and announces himself STILL PWX Champion and says you’re looking at ‘Country Jacked’
Match Analysis: This has to be one of the best main events of the year for Premiere Wrestling Xperience. The action was so fast paced at times, and Hollis & Konley pulled out every move from their and everyone else’s arsenal in an attempt to put one another away. Konley & Hollis have been two of the top guys on the roster & on the independent scene for awhile now and they both showed exactly why here. Go out of your way to see this match, the closing 5 minutes alone will leave you breathless. It remains to be seen what is next for ‘Country Jacked’ but Konley should probably have some insurance just in case or that PWX title may not only be physically missing from his waist, but completely gone and in the stable of Adam Page, Corey Hollis, & Luke “Doc” Gallows ****
