– Quarter final match: Big Van Walter, who now wants to be called Big Daddy Walter, beat Johnny Gargano with a devastating folding powerbomb to advance to the semi finals. Brutal match. Sasa Keel’s entourage made a run in but were fought of.
– Four Way Dance: Jon Ryan beat Tommaso Ciampa, Michael Dante and Carnage after some four was confusion with a roll up on Ciampa. Good match, everyone was very much into Ciampa.
– Quarter final match: Adam Cole beat Robert Dreissker after a german suplex and another german suplex hold to advance. Good effort from both, Cole is SUPER over as a heel.
– Axel Dieter Jr. and Da Mack, the current wXw Tag Champs, came out for some kind of interview. Matt Striker followed them and wants a title match with Trent Baretta. The match is on!
– wXw World Tag Title Match: In a HUGE upset, Striker and Baretta beat Hot & Spicy and are the NEW world tag team champions. Great match, Baretta and Striker worked face at the start of the match but turned on everybody after a failed dance off. Striker won after a failed sunset flip attempt against Mack with some help from the ropes.
– Tag Team Match: KUSHIDA and Toby Blunt beat Ryuichi Kawakami and Kim Ray after the Midnight Express from KUSHIDA on Ray. Afterwards Ray complaint to Kawakami and got his ass beat.
– Quarter final match: Chris Hero beat Karsten beck after a Cyclone Kill and the former Kassius Klutch to advance. Good match, Beck completely held his own. AND he came out with an actual saxophone player who played “Careless Whisper”.
– Quarter final match: Axel Tischer beat Bad Bones after countered a codebreaker into a Liger Bomb. Nobody cared for this match because they’re both kinda heels. Everything was chanted from “Claudio” to “Ole” and the Zack Sabre Song. Match was actually pretty good but not very well received by the crowd.
– A referee named Markus Weiss came to the ring and told his story about his career as a fan and a ref in this promotion. And then he complimented Svetlana Kalashnikova, the valet of Axel Tischer. And then he proposed to her. It’s a running storyline of some sort. She first left the ring, but came back, took the ring and left again. Pretty funny stuff, the crowd was into it WAY MORE than the marxh before.
– So Adam Cole, Axel Tischer, Big Daddy Walter and Chris Hero are all in the semi finals.
– wXw Unified World Title Match: Tommy End succesfully defends against Jonathan Gresham with a Top Rope Double Foot Stomp and a Modified Dragon Sleeper. AWESOME match, great finish to a very, very good show.
