PWX TV Episode 30
Air date: 4/5/14

The show opens with a recap of Manscout Jake Manning going to a draw with ITV
champion Mr Elite Drew Myers who retreated without giving Manning his rematch,
them subsequently being attacked by PWX champion Caleb Konley in a backstage
interview. The voice of PWX Chris Shore tells us the main event will see
Manscout vs Konley 1 on 1, but first Manning will cash in his ITV title rematch.

ITV Title Match

Mr Elite Drew Myers (c) Lance Lude

Manscout Jake Manning comes out & says he’s been given the opportunity to fight
for the PWX title so he’s giving the ITV title opportunity to Lance Lude, and
the opening match is underway. Mr Elite unhappy with this change of plans and
attacks Lude prior to the bell and takes over on offense. Lude ducks Myers as he
charges into the corner, hits a head kick and follows with a hurracanrana for a
near fall. Drew kicks out the injured and bandaged thigh of his challenger and
works to capitalize on the injury. Chris Shore makes a great point that working
the leg will ground a lot of Lude’s potential offense just as Myers hits a
picture prefer overhead belly to belly. The challenger responds with an
ensuguiri and Mr Elite begins the effort to run the 10 minute time limit down
and escape with his title. The champion goes for the Olympic Slam but Lude
reverses into the “Lude Awakening” for a 2 count! The champion takes over and
hits the Olympic Slam but Lude kicks out. Back and forth action in this opener
as Drew goes to put Lance away with a German suplex, Lude reverses into a
victory roll  to win the ITV championship!

Title **TITLE CHANGE**

#1MansOpinion: An honorable action by The Manscout leads to the biggest PWX win of Lance Lude’s career. This was a well deserved win for one of the hardest working talents on the roster, Lude has proved over the last 8 months that he will give you his all each and everytime he’s in the ring. Adding to the importance of Lude’s win and not to be overshadowed is the successful reign of Mr. Elite. Since winning the ITV championship from Chip Day, Myers has notched some of the biggest wins of his short career and established himself as a ‘must see’ talent as well. The ITV title itself provides some of the best matches on any PWX show and with Lance Lude as the 4th man to hold that title, I’m sure things will be no different.

KonleywBelt
Craig Veltri interviews and questions PWX champion Caleb Konley about his attack
on former friend Manscout Jake Manning. Caleb says the old days are over and
he’s surpassed everyone else on the roster.

always wonder what he’s high on, he says tonight he’s high on innovation & high
on being the new innovative TV champion.

‘The Southern Savior’ John Skyler vs Steven ‘The Fever’ Walters

As both men make their entrances, Commentators Chris Shore & Patrick Wright
recap Skyler’s attack on Rich Swann last week, Swann could be out of action up
to 6 weeks with a neck injury. Just as they begin to run down Skyler’s mean
streak he attacks Walters before he makes it to the ring & begins stomping away.
Walters quickly reverses momentum with a back drop and Fever runs Skyler from
post to post much to the delight of the PWX fans. The back and forth continues
between these two guys who know each other very well and by way of that know how
to counter many of their opponents moves. Skyler locks in a camel clutch to wear
Walters down, but Walters again comes firing back and is is cut short by the
Southern Savior once again. The familiarity continues to lend itself to back an
forth action but now it’s Walters who gets his biggest offense of the match.
Fever goes for a suicide dive but it’s cut short by a slingshot spear from
Walters. This  battle spills out of the ring as both men fight on the stage.
Skyler hits a spike DDT on Walters just as he did Swann, and Skyler counts along
with the referee as he counts both men out. After the match Skyler DDT’s Walters
again and says “Honor is Dead”

Result: John Skyler & Steven Walters wrestled to a double countout.

#1MansOpinion: The Southern Savior continues to teeter on the brink of insanity, after a long feud with Jake Manning, Skyler is out to prove that honor is dead in professional wrestling. He and Steven Walters are no strangers to one another sometimes being friends, sometimes bitter enemies. It didn’t seem to matter to Skyler this week as he repeated his vicious attack on Rich Swann from last week, dishing out not one but two brutal DDT’s on the stage to Walters. As for the match itself, these two were as evenly matched as it comes and had a good match but emotions got the better of each man resulting in the double countout. The story here is The Southern Savior and how far he’s willing to go to prove his point and who can stop his quest to ‘Trample the Weak’.

Main Event- PWX championship match

Caleb Konley w/ Amanda Rodriguez (c) vs ‘Manscout’ Jake Manning

The best announcer on the Indies Corky Franks introduces the main event as only
he can, and if you weren’t ready for this huge match before you certainly are
now! Manning enjoys the crowd being behind him, and Konley extends a middle
finger to Manning. The two lock up & Manning rolls out of the ring and takes a
seat in the crowd with some Jr. Manscouts. Back in the ring & Manning takes
Konley to all four posts, hits an axe handle and goes for a figure four but is
cut off briefly by the champion, but
Manscout takes over once again. Konley dumps Manning to the outside but again it
The Manscout who lays in some chops and controls the offense out there as well.
Back from a brief commercial break & the PWX champ has finally turned the tide.
Konley hits a dropkick, then slams Manning in the corner. Konley hits his
Senton, but pauses to admonish the crowd and only gets a 2 count, Konley gouges
the eyes of Manning and continues to stroke his ego playing to the PWX crowd.
Manning hits a top rope lariat, then a backdrop, Manning nails the back
breaker/flatliner combo but Konley kicks out. The pace is really quick now as
Manning & Konley go through a sunset flip reversal series, Konley locks in the
‘OH! Face’ briefly but Manning battles out. Manning hits a super plex and goes
for hangman’s piledriver, Amanda holds her man’s feet to prevent the move &
Manscout goes after Amanda, allowing Konley to hit a low blow, followed by a
small package and retain the PWX title once again. After the match Caleb Konley
locks in the “OH! Face” as Amanda taunts Manning with the PWX championship.

Result: PWX Champion Caleb Konley def. Manscout Jake Manning to retain the
title.

PWXPowerCouple

#1MansOpinion: If there is one thing you can count on, it’s PWX TV providing great main events each week and this was no exception. Again, these two have known each other for years, trained together, and worked many shows together. It seems as of late people who THOUGHT they knew the PWX champion Caleb Konley are finding out they don’t know him at all. Konley has become focused on one goal, and that’s remaining the measuring stick in Premiere Wrestling Xperience at any cost. Manning is widely regarded as one of the most underrated talents on the independent wrestling scene and he gave Konley all he could handle and more but in the end Konley did what it took to hold to to his coveted championship and with his girlriend Amanda Rodriguez in his corner took full advantage of any distraction or assistance she could provide. Is Konley living on borrowed time as PWX Champ? Or is the new Power Couple in PWX truly unbeatable?
