Eddie Kingston says that either him or Silas Young will have a funeral tonight.

Shane Hollister w/ Markus Crane, Dan Lawrence, and Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Juntai Miller

Miller is one of the most talented people in AAW, but I cannot say he’s ever been presented as one of the top guys. That’s what makes it so disappointing when all three of Hollister’s goons get involved within the first five minutes. I’m not asking Hollister to reinvent the wheel, but if someone is going to interfere on his behalf, why must it be three people?
That being said, having two such talented young wrestlers in one ring was bound to produce some quality. It is almost a crime that Miller has been isolated so far in his career. Would love to see these two go at it again.

Silas Young says that he’s tired of Eddie Kingston running his mouth. He tells him that he wouldn’t say anything to his face.

Silas Young vs. Eddie Kingston

It starts with Young choking Kingston, setting the stage for their match. Weapons came out early. I really enjoy how organic Young’s transition to face was. He got our sympathies because another, worse man came after him and his wife. Their previous behavior has isolated them to the point where no one would think to come out to help the couple unless something really despicable happened. It’s the most believable story. Feuds don’t feel like this anymore.
As for the match, which was good, it felt like it was missing something. The build was great, and this is not the climax of this story, but I wanted more. Alex Colon’s appearance killed the building intensity; in contrast, Malone’s involvement was perfect. Hopefullytheir next match lives up to the excitement these two are building.

Young promises that he will get his hands on Kingston again.

Kingston and Colon celebrate. Kingston says that they are united in their hate of Young. Kingston bullies Dr. Keith, and then asks who’s next.

A solid episode. I almost wish they put together two different matches. On their own, they’re both pretty good matches, ones worth a watch. Together, we just see the endless parade of goons that get involved in matches. But Hollister and Young are AAW’s two biggest guys, and this episode does represent the cream of the crop for AAW.
