Evolve returned to Orlando, with the card highlighted bye Timothy Thatcher returning to defend his title, after being away for the last two shows held in October due to an overseas tour.

Darby Allin defeated Anthony Henry
Darby Allin with the coffin drop out of the corner for the win. Said to be a good opener.

Nathan Cruz defeated Jason Kincaid
Kincaid taps to Cruz Control, a step over inverted Cloverleaf. Good showing for both men.

Fred Yehi defeated DUSTIN
Yehi forces DUSTIN to tap. Wow. Nice upset there as Yehi heads on to face ZSJ tomorrow night.

The Gate Keepers defeated Bunk & Funk
Gatekeeper pinned Funk w a shoulder breaker/elbow drop in a very short squash match. Ethan Page came out and cut a promo on Thatcher. His unkind words drew Thatcher out and he demanded to start the scheduled main event immediately.

EVOLVE Championship Match
Timothy Thatcher defeated “All Ego” Ethan Page
The referee was knocked out during the match, allowing the Gatekeepers to interfere and for Page to bust Thatcher open with the belt after the champ was able to fight the three off. A second referee came in, but Page only was able to secure a two count. Infuriated, he laid out the referee. The original referee woke up and after a series of headbutts,Thatcher won the match via submission with an armbar. After the match Stokely Hathaway came to the ring with Amy Rose and offered Thatcher is services. The champ was not impressed; despite being showered with money, he declined.

Zack Sabre Jr. defeated “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams
Sabre made Williams tap to a double butterfly. Sabre and Yehi head into their showdown tomorrow night both looking to go 2-0 this weekend.
Chris Hero defeated Drew Gulak
Hero scored the win after a rolling elbow to the back of the head. Brutal match, Gulak will have a hell of a time wrestling Thatcher at EVOLVE 71.After the match, Drew Galloway came out and extended his hand to Hero, who did not accept the handshake.

Matt Riddle defeated AR Fox
Riddle won the match via submission with the Bromission. DUSTIN attacked Riddle right after the match and as Galloway was about to deliver a boot to Riddle, Catch Point hit the ring to save Riddle from further damage. Riddle told Catch Point he never left them as they stand tall to end an excellent Evolve 70 card.
