Quarterfinal Matches

Jake Crist over Shane Strickland via backslide

Eddie Kingston over Zodiac via Backfist to the Future

Jonathan Gresham over Devon Moore via Octopus Stretch

Larry D over Mance Warner via Argentine Backbreaker

Su Yung over Homicide via Top Rope Crossbody.
Match started with a pre match promo with Homicide saying he was going to kill Su. He asked Ian why he booked this match and said whatever happens to Su is on the crowd since we wanted the match. Homicide toyed with Su the entire match and used the entire arena to hurt Su. Finish came after Su used the mist after escaping a Cop Killa. There was a ref bump during the confusion and a second ref came down to count the pin after the top rope cross body.

Aaron Williams defeated David Starr with a kick to the head to retain the IWA Title and move to the Semi-Finals.

Non-Tournament

Nate Webb over Space Monkey via Soylent Green. Very fun match.

Semi-Final Matches

Jonathan Gresham defeated Larry D after Larry D passed out in the sleeper hold. Very physical match with Gresham taking a ton of offense from Larry D. Post match, Ian Rotten says Larry D proved he belongs at IWA Mid-South.

Aaron Williams defeated Eddie Kingston after a kick to the head. Early in the match Kingston took a very stiff power bomb on the concrete with a very audible thud.

Non-Tournament

Ludark Shaitan & Gary Jay over Anthony Henry & Shane Sabre after Gary Jay hit a running forearm on Anthony Henry.

Dave Crist, Cole Roderick, Ace Perry & Kongo Kong defeated Calvin Tankman, Shane Mercer, Johnthan Wolf & Arik Cannon after Ace Perry hit Jonathan Wolf with an Ace Crusher. Post match Dave Crist asks Ian Rotten for a match with Ace Perry saying now respects the kid and that he’ll either make him or break him.

2017 TPI Finals

Aaron Williams eliminated Johnathan Gresham and Jake Crist via a kick to the head. Post match, Shane Mercer attacks Aaron Williams as he celebrates the win. Devon Moore hits the ring and dispatches of Shane Mercer. Devon is cashing in his title shot on a prone Aaron Williams. Aaron Williams quickly defeats Devon Moore after hitting ‘Get Over Here’.
