This week on the CWF Road Diaries host John Philapavage (@johnphilapavage) talks to his dear, close, personal, long-time friend – and more importantly a mover and shaker in the southern independent world – Dylan Hales (@dylanwaco). Dylan is the man who introduced John to CWF, and they go into the origin story of each other’s interest in the company, as well as the moment CWF broke on the internet “smart fan” stage. It gets in the weeds on wrestling internet culture from a decade ago, Stuttsy, PWO and the Death Valley Driver board. The guys talk about the southern graps movement and only manage to name check Tanahashi and Brock Lesnar once or twice the entire time. Ah, the Christmas season!
