Matt Lott welcomes us to the show from the studio, and recaps Kevin Ku’s big White Belt win from last week. Lott tells us to go on their website (dojopro.co) to read up on Jeff Cobb’s attack from the first episode, and then he leads us right into this week’s match, Kevin Ku vs. Gunner Miller.

Kevin Ku says it feels amazing to be the first White Belt holder. Gunner Miller introduces himself, says he has been wrestling for 4 years now, and used to play football. He used to represent Ultimate Warrior with his eye black during games, until he finally got a conversation with Ultimate Warrior on a weekly basis. Ku mentions that him and Gunner used to face each other a lot in Georgia, so they should have good chemistry here tonight. Again, this was another great little video package hyping up the match, and both individuals.

Dojo Pro White Belt: Kevin Ku (c) vs. Gunner Miller

This match worked a similar style to the first episode, but Gunner Miller was much better in the heel role than Kerry Awful. Kevin Ku got a great reaction, and was able to play the never say die babyface before Gunner Miller took him out with a great looking spear, followed by a Jack Hammer, and then a lariat. I thought they were going to let Ku get a surprise roll up after the Jack Hammer, since Gunner was too cocky to pin him. Overall, the Kevin Ku story has come to an end, and now we have our new holder of the Dojo Pro White Belt, Gunner Miller. This was a very good match, with a great KO finish. KO finishes are rarely used in wrestling these days, but this one worked out perfectly. Kudos to Dojo Pro for going outside the box.

Winner: Gunner Miller

Match Rating: ***

Post match, Rob Johnston interviews our new White Belt Champion, Gunner Miller. Miller takes the microphone out of Johnston’s hand and shoves him aside. As Miller takes in all of the boos, all he says is “I am Dojo Pro”. Miller will take on Wheeler Yuta next week. After Miller drops the mic and heads to the back, Kevin Ku gets a standing ovation from the crowd.

Final Thoughts:

I feel like this show was nearly as good as last week, if not on par with it. We had a good match, establishing a new White Belt winner, and Gunner solidified himself as Dojo Pro’s resident heel (for the time being). There was no Jeff Cobb this week, or anyone else in the standings for that matter. The formula here is great, we open the show in the studio, have a video package for the wrestlers in the match, the match itself, and then a closing angle. This was a super easy 20 minutes to watch, and it’s hard not to recommend it if you ever get the chance to check Dojo Pro out.

Final Rating: 6.8/10
