Matt Lott is in the studio, talking about Wheeler Yuta successfully defending the White Belt last week. Tonight, Yuta faces Joey Janela. Janela was ranked so low because many see his hardcore style as a liability… We’ll see how he fares tonight.

Wheeler Yuta knows that Joey Janela doesn’t care about his well being, but he can take some lessons from his match with Corey Hollis to execute here tonight. Joey Janela says he steals the show in every city he goes, and he can wrestle about anyone in the world. Janela isn’t just a hardcore wrestler, he could go in there with any technical wrestler and match them hold for hold. Yuta needs to find counters, and look for his flaw like he did with Miller and Hollis in the past weeks. Janela isn’t a fan of his rating, and he’s disappointed in it. Everywhere else he’s ranked #1, and he believes he’s ranked #1. He believes Dojo Pro is discriminating against him due to what they see on the internet. Yuta won’t let Janela’s wild acts stop or fear him here tonight. Janlea calls Yuta a pinch hitter, while Janela is a Home Run Derby King. Yuta is about to find out why everyone calls Janela a bad bad boy.

Dojo Pro White Belt: Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Joey Janela

This was another good match, and a big improvement from last episode. The crowd didn’t know whether they should cheer for Janlea or not, they did anyways, until he used the referee and won the White Belt off of a low blow. Yuta didn’t lose the belt clean, and would not go down without a fight. Janela looked good here, and should have a few defenses with the White Belt, probably all the way to James Storm. Wheeler Yuta was a great underdog, and continued to sell the arm from his last match, which was much appreciated. These two got a ton of time to work, and I wish they could’ve been let loose to do a bunch of crazy things for the final five minutes, but instead they played it a little bit safe, but there was nothing wrong with it. Janela wins the white belt off of a low blow, solidifying himself as the Bad Boy.

Winner: Joey Janela

Match Rating: ***1/4

After the match, Joey Janela kisses the belt and walks off to the back. He will face Brandon Cutler next week. Once Janela left, Wheeler Yuta got a standing ovation in the ring.

Final Thoughts:

We had a 30 minute episode this week, something that hasn’t happened since the first episode. I enjoyed the time that Yuta and Janela got, but I know those two are capable of doing more. The match was solid, and the result proved that Joey Janela will do anything to run the gauntlet, as he truly is a “Bad Boy”. The underdog story of Wheeler Yuta is up, and it was great while it lasted. No post match interview this week, but the episode was already 29 minutes long at that point, so it wasn’t needed. This was another good episode, as we have a new Dojo Pro White Belt holder moving forward.

Final Rating: 7.0/10
