The AAA Triplemania Regia press conference was a wild affair according to LuchaCentral.com . Some of the big news coming out of it were:
AEW star and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega will indeed return to AAA to defend the Mega Championship against former CMLL star and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee who makes his debut.
Also debuting is current ROH World Champion Rush to face long time rival LA Park and AAA’s resident clown prince of doom Pagano in a triple threat match.
Unfortunately the show will not stream live.
Taya will defend her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Ayako Hamada, Faby Apache and Lady Shani
Copa Triplemania will return as Copa Triplemania Regia, featuring twelve Luchador Sorpresas. Bandido, who along with Rush is currently contracted to Ring of Honor, makes his first AAA appearance since October of last year teaming with Flamita to take on the teams of Brian Cage/Puma King, Taurus/Villano III Jr. and Aramis/Hijo del Vikingo in four way tag team action. Finally the undercard is rounded up by the Baby Parks (El Hijo del LA Park and LA Park Jr.) and Hijo del Volador team up to face Poder del Norte and an opening match atomicos that sees Big Mami, Pimpinela Escarlata, Dinastia and Mascarita Sagrada team up to face exotico legend Cassandro (making his first AAA appearance since 2011), Dave the Clown, Demus and Lady Maravilla.
AAA’s Triplemania Regia will be on December 1st from Estadio Beisbol de Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; tickets are available now.
