Commentary: Jason Heat and Sidney Bakabella
1. Mike Quackenbush pinned Thomas Santell in a double knuckle lock. This was the 19th match of Mike Quackenbush’s 25th Anniversary Tour.
2. Icarus pinned Thief Ant with the Wings of Icarus (Pedigree).
3. Still Life With Apricots and Pears pinned Sonny Defarge with an Oklahoma Roll.
4. The Crucible (Devantes, Matt Makowski & E.M. DeMorest) defeated The Creatures of the Deep (Merlok, Hermit Crab & Cajun Crawdad) when Devantes pinned Crawdad with a TKO.
The Grand Championship match was set to happen next, but Ophidian interrupted, attempting to take the Whisper’s spot as challenger. Whisper refused to give up his spot, so Ophidian beat him to the point where the match was waived and Hatfield left the building.
During intermission, referee Kris Levin revealed to Whisper that the rulebook states that because he handed over his points before the match, he must challenge Hatfield tonight or his title opportunity is lost. Despite being hurt, Whisper instructed Levin to get Hatfield back to the building so he could challenge.
5. Boomer Hatfield pinned Rory Gulak with the Boomerang.
6. Lance Steel submitted John Francis of Coronado with a Boston Crab.
7. Hallowicked pinned Missile Assault Man with Never Wake Up.
8. Campeonatoes de Parejas: The Bird & The Bee (Solo Darling & Willow Nightingale) defeated F.I.S.T. (Travis Huckabee & Tony Deppen) 2 falls to 1 to win the titles.
– F.I.S.T. won the first fall, pinning Nightingale with a Stretch Muffler/double stomp combo.
– The Bird & The Bee won the second fall via disqualification due to Huckabee hitting Nightingale with a chair.
– The Bird & The Bee won the third and final fall when Nightingale submitted Deppen, choking Deppen with his own arm.
9. Grand Championship: Dasher Hatfield retained the title over The Whisper via countout.
After the match, Ophidian and Devantes further damaged Whisper. The rest of the Crucible came to ringside. Ophidian told Mike Quackenbush it was time for him to step down as head trainer from the Wrestle Factory, and that nobody had his back. Quackenbush emerged and revealed he did indeed have people willing to take his side against the Crucible: the three men who exposed the Crucible (Joshua Wells, Xavier Faraday, and Joey Ibanez), as well as Jigsaw, a new Mister ZERO, and an unidentified masked wrestler. The two sides brawled as the show went to black.
In an after credits scene, Bakabella told his commentary partner Jason Heat that he has resigned as the Director of Fun, but before doing so, any unused points and outstanding Golden Opportunities are now gone. We are entering Season 21 with a clean slate points wise.
