From The Offices Of Qatar Pro Wrestling: Three-Team Tag Title Battle Plus Cage vs. Elgin Set For SuperSlam 2!

We are under two weeks away from the largest professional wrestling event to ever emanate from the country of Qatar as QPW presents SuperSlam 2! This week, we’ll preview two more massive matches set to take place –

QPW Tag Team Titles: Apolo & Apolo Jr vs. Carlito & Chris Masters vs. Jody Fleisch & Jonny Storm

It was the inaugural SuperSlam event when QPW crowned its first set of tag team champions, as the Puerto Rican sensation Apolo teamed with the legendary Al Snow to capture the prize. This year, however, the titles have been declared vacant, and Apolo has turned to his own blood to pursue tag team gold this time, as he joins forces with his son Apolo Jr! They’ll have to contend with two seasoned tandems, however. Carlito & Chris Masters have spent years on the road together, and have even teamed at WrestleMania, but are they truly ready for the level of competition QPW’s tag team division brings? Jody Fleisch & Jonny Storm are innovators and pioneers of their style, and perhaps know each other better than any other 2 athletes in QPW, and have a history of tag team championship gold themselves. Will the bond between father & son be enough to counter-act these experienced rivals and lead to an historic tag team run or can Carlito & Masters or Jody & Jonny play spoiler?

Brian Cage vs. Michael Elgin

Michael Elgin spent many years dubbed as “Unbreakable”, and certainly lived up to the moniker, but now “The Machine” Brian Cage is proving it true in his own right as well. In spite of recent bicep surgery, Cage asserts he WILL be at SuperSlam 2, and as of this writing, is still scheduled to do battle with Michael Elgin. Elgin has achieved major success in Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and now Impact Wrestling where his freakish strength and undeniable aggression have made him among the most feared opponents anywhere in wrestling. Much the same can be said for Cage who demonstrates his breathtaking power on a regular basis, and possesses deceptively impressive speed and agility as well. It will be a true collision of two of the most intimidating and fearless athletes in all of pro wrestling when these men do battle live on FITE on February 21.
