EVOLVE 72 11/12/16 Review Queens,New York La Boom Pre-show Dark Match Tommy End vs. Tony Nese The crowd was split between both these men and the two did not disappoint. End hit a number of punishing strikes, connecting with a brutal knees and kicks that somehow were weathered by Nese. Evolve 65 LIVE Results and Review

Evolve 64 was another solid show that featured the shocking return of Chuck Taylor. He and Drew Galloway shockingly became the new tag team champions after defeating Catch Point, and “Dustin” declared Chuck Taylor dead. In addition, Timothy Thatcher retained his Evolve championship. TJ Perkins, coming out of a night off, will challenge Thatcher. Drew Galloway and Johnny Gargano will end their rivalry (although I have a feeling Dustin and Ethan Page might become involved). We’ll see more cruiserweight showcases and an open try-out for Catch Point. Tommaso Ciampa vs….

EVOLVE 63 iPPV Review 6/11/2016

EVOLVE 63 Trevin Adams confirmed that Thatcher versus Hot Sauce would be for the title, Nese was added to the Cruiserweight Classic and the WWN Live Experience would be in the same building. MATCH 1: Cedric Alexander vs. Fred Yehi Trevin and Mister Saint Laurent did commentary for this show. I thought they did a pretty good job and MSL offered up some interesting points during various matches, particularly the five way later on. Technical match early, which escalated as it went on. Yehi probably just about edged the…

EVOLVE 62 iPPV Review 6/10/16

EVOLVE 62 MATCH 1: Fred Yehi vs. Anthony Nese Nese impressed in his last match against Matt Riddle and here, it wasn’t quite the same performance, but this still built into a good match. They got a surprising amount of time which meant both guys slowing the pace down during the first part of the match. Crowd weren’t really with them early on and Nese’s new zero character probably doesn’t help in that regard. Things picked up towards the end though, with Yehi avoiding a 450 and catching Nese in…
