G1 Climax Review And Results From July 28

We finally made it to round 4 of the Guardrail 1 Climax tournament.  Let’s get started at the Tokorozawa Citizen Gymnasium in Saitama. David Finlay and Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Jushin Thunder Liger and Tiger Mask.   Taguchi came out dressed like a game show host.  I feel like it’s time to retire the Funky Weapon and this needs to be his new gimmick. Winners: Jushin Thunder Liger and Tiger Mask.  Tiger Mask hits a double under hook slam on Finlay.  Poor Dave Finlay sure is taking a lot of losses. …

G1 Climax Results And Reaction For July 27

Sorry guys but this will be my last recap for 2 years, I have been suspended for testing positive for a banned substance.  No, just kidding.  As if my performance of recapping the G1 could ever be enhanced.  Anyway enough joking around people we have serious business to get to.  We’re one show away from having three rounds in the books.  I did enjoy the day off yesterday, thanks for asking, but we’re not even halfway through this thing so let’s get right to it.  Today’s show comes to us…

G1 Climax Results And Review For July 24

Next year I definitely need to use vacation time during the G1 but somehow, someway I make it work.  Time for round 2 of Block B.  As we head into today, the big questions are, does Naito get his first win?  Do they continue to make Evil look strong, because between the G1 and the 6-person tag matches, he has looked the most dominate out of Block B.  Here’s what we have today from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. BLOCK B: Toru Yano vs. Kenny Omega BLOCK B: Michael Elgin vs….

Day 3 of the G1 Climax and if this were anything like March Madness I’d be tossing my brackets into the trash as my predictions haven’t exactly been stellar.  But it’s still early so time to rebound.  Let’s see what we got going on today from the Machida Municipal Gymnasium in Tokyo. G1 Climax Results And Review For July 22

Alright well after a fun first day filled with upsets and some good wrestling who’s ready for like 18 more days?  By the way, when I said Marafuji had a 0% chance of winning, I was watching a lot of WWE and the thought of an outsider coming in and beating the top guy just seemed insane to me.  Sometimes the sports entertainment mentality seeps into my brain, so let’s pretend I never said that, OK? Today’s show is Block B at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and here are the…

G1 Climax Results and Review For July 18

Who’s ready for some G1 Climax matches?  I’ll show the results of all the matches but only the G1 matches will be recapped.  I’m doing this for my own sanity because these shows are over 3 hours. There’s a lot of them and if I didn’t do it this way, I’d go crazy. This still might happen because there’s still a lot of matches in this thing.  Here are the matches we have today from the Hokkaido Perfectual Sports Center in Sapporo, Japan. BLOCK A: Togi Makabe vs. Tama Tonga…

New Japan Pro Wrestling Dominion 2015 In Osaka Castle Hall Live Results

NJPW “DOMINION 7.5 IN OSAKA CASTLE HALL”, 05.07.2015  0. Yuji Nagata, Manabu Nakanishi, Ryusuke Taguchi, Máscara Dorada & Sho Tanaka def  Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima, Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask & Yohei Komatsu Typical ten man tag to get everyone on the card.  However, Masacara Dorada looked great here and seemed like a complete waste on this card.  Maybe bigger plans lay ahead of him in the Jr. division, perhaps a singles match with Ricochet to setup Ricochet as a challenger.  Nakanishi had a segment with Tenzan that was horrible. …
