The independent wrestling community was dealt a serious hit today as it was brought to light via Terra Calaway’s Twitter that Colin West (real name Patrick S Shea) owner of Synergy Wrestling has been a registered sex offender since 1999.
I claim to be a leader in this community, I need to be a leader. Even when it's with a broken heart and angry soul.

I am ashamed to have ever allowed Colin West aka Patrick Shea, the owner of Synergy Pro, into my life and my locker room.

What followed this revelation was Synergy’s roster leaving en masse. Names like WARHORSE, TJ Crawford, and current Cruiserweight Crown holder Kasey Catal all announced their departures; with Catal also announcing she would be vacating her championship. This came along with IWTV confirming that they will no longer be working with the promotion and even deleting their catalog (sans a WARHORSE IWTV Title defense) from the IWTV library.
Currently, visiting the Synergy Wrestling website will only present you with the following written statement from who we assume to be Patrick:
With Synergy seemingly finished, theres one more issue: the wrestlers who were being flown in by the company for Mania Weekend. Currently, Tony Deppen and ACTION Wrestling have lead the front to help those effected by today’s events.
Any talent who were depending on a travel share from Synergy Wrestling to Tampa that we know, please reach out via DM or msg the owner on FB please
