Following Jon Moxley’s successful title defense against Tony Deppen in the main event of Game Changer Wrestling’s “You Wouldn’t Understand” in New York City, Blake Christian made his way to the ring. He faced off with Moxley and it was officially announced, Jon Moxley will be defending the GCW World Championship against Blake Christian on July 29th at the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.
Christian became number one contender for the championship by defeating Matt Cardona in a number one contenders match a few weeks back at GCW’s COS. The match will take place shortly after the 3 year anniversary of Blake Christian’s GCW debut, which he made on on July 21, 2019 at GCW “Lights Out.” That show was held at the Basement East which is also located in Nashville, Tennessee.
“The People vs GCW” will take place on Friday July 29th as part of Starrcast weekend. The event will live stream on FiteTV.
