Sudden news struck Warrior Wrestling fans as their July 23rd Stadium Series event has been canceled. Their accompanying August 20th and September 3rd shows, while not formally canceled, are still uncertain to happen. Upon visiting the Warrior Wrestling ticket site, fans would be met with a the following message for all 3 events, “WARRIOR WRESTLING HAS STOPPED ONLINE TICKET SALES FOR THIS DATE.” This came as a surprise as Warrior’s social medias had not indicated that there would be any cancelation.

After PWPonderings initially posted the message, Twitter user Bryan Koval shared an email received from Warrior Wrestling. In the email, Warrior confirmed they are canceling the July 23rd event due to “…unfortunate personal circumstances and some logistical issues.” Warrior also confirmed that they will be issuing refunds for single day tickets. Season ticket holder refunds will be delayed due to having to “…finalize info on the other dates.”

We personally reached out to Warrior Wrestling for clarification on the cancelation and they provided the following:

We’re cancelling 7/23 because of a combination of business and personal reasons. On the business side, the advance for the show did not meet the threshold that we would need to make sense to run, so we are cancelling that show. We are going to regroup and plan for future shows.

Along with this statement, Warrior Wrestling has released and official tweet confirming the cancelation of their July 23rd event. This show was to feature the likes of Athena, Kylie Rae, WARHORSE and Alex Shelley.

Warrior Wrestling also recently received criticism online for booking former Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard for their August 20th event. Tessa has a history of bullying and racism shared by her colleagues. We will provide any updates on these events as they come.
